Parking
The Hotel Lombardy does provide parking; however, it is valet only and expensive, $20+tax/day, $38+tax/overnight. If you have decided to drive instead of use public transportation, we recommend considering another nearby garage in the area, there are many.
Other Hotels
Our ceremony is in the Foggy Bottom neighborhood of Washington, DC. Nearby is the West End, Georgetown, and Dupont Circle with many additional hotels, all within a walkable radius.
Please remember Friday, November 11th is Veterans' Day and our wedding is the weekend following Election Day. For that reason, we highly recommend you consider leaving your car parked during the duration of your stay.
Street parking is virtually non-existent in DC and valet parking is too expensive. Luckily, there are a number of public parking lots around Foggy Bottom. We strongly recommend leaving your car parked in one of these parking lots for about $11-24 per day. Most of our wedding events will be easy to walk to from the Hotel Lombardy.
Download Uber and launch the app on your smartphone. Enter your location and destination, select an UberX and you're on your way! There's no need to tip, since the entire cost of the trip, including gratuity, will be billed to the credit card you signed up with. Average ride is between $7-15, and almost always cheaper than a cab.
You can also use the Metro to get around the city. The Foggy Bottom stop is located just a few blocks away from the Hotel Lombardy and Arts Club. However, the Metro is undergoing a massive reconstruction project, and there may be significant delays on weekends. We recommend checking the status before taking a trip.
